Eye Lid Surgery

Excess skin and fat can sometimes cause eyelids to droop or puff up and consequently affect vision. A blepharoplasty is performed to remove the excess skin.

An Entropion is a condition causing the lower eyelid to turn inward. This can cause irritation as the eyelashes may rub against the eye.

An Ectropion is when the lower eyelid turns out and you can see the inner surface of the eye. The most common cause for an ectropion is ageing.

Ptosis (Droopy eyelids)

A Ptosis is a drooping of the upper eyelid. This drooping could be slight or complete and it can affect or block normal vision. It can affect one or both eyes and can occur in children and adults.
