An Ectropion is when the lower eyelid turns out and you can see the inner surface of the eye. The most common cause for an ectropion is ageing.

A Ptosis is a drooping of the upper eyelid. This drooping could be slight or complete and it can affect or block normal vision. It can affect one or both eyes and can occur in children and adults.
